On The River
There were seven of us "post teenagers" in our group but that was unusual. Most groups are crammed with families with children as well as independent tourists of the "Africa overlander/safari" type. Custom and corporate groups are catered for. In December and January there are school groups mixed in and a world famous New Years Party for whoever happens to be there. About half of the canoeists are usually South African and the rest from all over the world. A stretched-limo operator from Boston, USA comes out every year (Hi Swifty!) and there are other regulars.
