We Dunnit! One River, Two Guides, Seven Survivors!
Canoeing down the Orange River through the Namib Desert on the border between South Africa and Namibia is not climbing Mount Everest or trekking to the North Pole but there is a sense of achievement, of doing something that is not run-of-the-mill and doing it without help from high-tech stuff. When you go down a river you pull your own weight and that gives you a mental perk. At the end of the trip you are so de-stressed that you don't know what day it is and don't care! That is worth millions! See you on The River!
